HOME / FEATURES / MORNING BRIEF
Morning Brief is a short read waiting for you when you wake up. It looks at how you slept, how your fasts have gone lately, and what you set out to do, then tells you what today should look like.
Written from your own numbers. Nothing borrowed from anyone else's.
Every line comes from data already in your app: your fasts, your check-ins, and whatever you have chosen to share from Apple Health.
Push today, or take it easy. You get a recommendation and the reasoning behind it, so you are not guessing before coffee.
Share sleep from Apple Health and the brief uses it. Keep it private and the brief still works, built on everything else you have logged.
What is in it
Not all eight appear every day. Sections that need data you have not given Burn stay out of the way instead of guessing.
Sleep and heart rate as context for today's fast.
Recent averages, completion rate, and which way you are trending.
What to do today, based on the context Burn actually has.
Advice keyed to the goal you picked when you set the app up.
What you have drunk against your target, with the context around it.
How to use the eating window when it opens.
This week measured against your recent weeks.
A rotating research note, keyed to the day you are having.
"Yesterday's fast was shorter than your target, which still counts as meaningful progress. The key is not to let a partial fast discourage you from starting today."
"Today's recommendation: trust your body and fast to your comfort level. Consistency is your greatest ally."
Two real lines from a real brief. It talks to you like someone who has seen your last two weeks, because it has.
How it works
Before you wake up, Burn gathers what it holds about you and writes the morning's read from that. The more of these it has, the more specific the brief gets.
On the Burn tab when you open the app, inside Insights with the rest of your patterns, and as a morning notification if you want the nudge.
Straight talk
Clear boundaries, so you know exactly what you are getting.
It reports patterns in your own record. It does not assess your health and it is not a medical opinion.
Burn maps elapsed time to named stages. It does not measure ketones, autophagy, or anything happening inside a cell.
Body Score is a Burn score built from your data, not a clinical one. Where a signal is missing, the brief leaves that section out.
You get a brief from your very first morning, built from whatever Burn knows so far. The longer you use it, the more specific it gets.
