HOME / FEATURES / CALENDAR SYNC
Burn writes your fasts to Apple Calendar, so the window sits beside your meetings when you are planning your day.
Why it helps
A lunch meeting, a dinner reservation or an early flight will each collide with a fasting window, and all three are already in your calendar.
A dinner at seven and a window that closes at six is obvious when both sit on the same screen. Move the window, or plan a shorter fast that day.
Hard efforts want glycogen. Seeing the session and the eating window together makes it easy to keep the demanding ones on the right side of the line.
With the window on the same screen as your bookings, an eight hour window is something you schedule into rather than over.
How it behaves
OPT IN
Calendar access is a permission you grant. Until you do, Burn writes nothing, and switching it off stops it.
EVERYWHERE YOU LOOK
Because the events live in Apple Calendar, they appear anywhere it does: your iPhone, your iPad and your Apple Watch face.
YOUR APPLE ACCOUNT
Calendar events are held by Apple Calendar and follow your Apple account settings, the same as everything else in it.
Planning around it
Choosing 16:8 is easy in the abstract. The useful question is whether your Thursday has room for it, and that is a question only your diary can answer.
If the week has a dinner in it, run 14:10 that day rather than abandoning the pattern. Burn records what you actually did, at the length it reached.
Three custom protocols cover the recurring exceptions, so a training day or a late dinner is a saved plan rather than a fresh decision each time.
WHERE YOUR HISTORY LIVES
Your fast history, Body Score, check-ins and everything you logged stay in Burn's Journal. What goes to Apple Calendar is the shape of the day, so you can plan against it.
Turn on calendar sync and your fasting window sits beside everything else you have to work around.
