HOME / FEATURES / DATA EXPORT
Export your history as CSV at any time. It opens in Excel, Numbers, Google Sheets or anything else that reads a spreadsheet, and it is yours to do whatever you like with.
Why it is there
A spreadsheet of dates and durations is a better answer than trying to remember how a few months went. Useful before starting a longer fast, or if you manage a condition alongside fasting.
Burn's Insights cover the patterns in your history. If you want to cross-reference your fasts against something Burn does not track, the raw rows are there.
An export means your history is not locked to one app. If you stop using Burn, months of fasts leave with you as a file rather than disappearing.
Where your data lives
ON YOUR DEVICE
The timer, your history and everything in the Journal are held on your iPhone. The app works without a connection.
IF YOU ENABLE IT
Turn on sync and your history moves between your iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch through your own iCloud account.
UNDER YOUR CONTROL
Anything synchronized through iCloud is associated with your Apple account, so the controls you already have over it apply to your fasting history too.
Alongside the export
The export is there for the times you want the raw rows. Day to day, Insights and the Journal already show the patterns, the averages and the records, so the file is a backstop rather than the main way to read your history.
Averages by week, month and all time, stat tiles, and twelve personal records with the dates they were set.
Tap any date for the fasts it held, the Body Score, your check-ins and anything you logged.
WHAT AN EXPORT IS NOT
The file holds what you logged and what the timer recorded. Burn maps elapsed time to named stages and does not measure ketosis, autophagy, or metabolic state, so nothing in the export is a physiological measurement.
The ketone and glucose figures are the ones you entered yourself, from your own tests.
Every fast recorded on your device, and exportable as CSV whenever you want it.
Download free on the App StoreiPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch. Requires iOS 18 or watchOS 11.
